Our "Get Away with Clay" weekends are designed for busy people with a passion to make pottery. We offer personal tuition in hand building provided in our Devon pottery.

  We are set within a 3 minute walk of the Great Western Canal, and 20 minutes by car from both Taunton and Tiverton, we can offer you a fun and relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle.

How the weekend is planned:

  Arrive Friday afternoon, in plenty of time for a meal to get to know fellow potters and hosts, Colin & Diane. If a later arrival is more suitable, an evening meal onSaturday can be arranged.

  Saturday: After a Full English Breakfast, all day pottery tuition (hand-building, throwing on the wheel, slab work & plenty more) or for those who just want to shop, walk the canal etc, local pubs or restaurants are available with a wide choice of good food on Saturday evening.

  On Sunday after breakfast a further 2 hours pottery are on offer, with departure about noon.

Pricing for 2009:

Fully inclusive pottery weekend £195.00

OR choose from the following:

• 7 1/2 hours tuition, incl. clay, glaze, firing & P&P. £135.00
• B&B accommodation per night £20.00 (+£5pp for loft room with ensuite)
• Evening meal £16.00 Light lunch & refreshments (Sat) £6.00
  
  Those who accompany potters, not wishing for tuition, pay as individually priced from the above choices.
  
  The items of pottery made during the weekend will be baked and glazed with your chosen colours and delivered to you - you will only have to pay the postage as an extra charge.
